“ Absolutely LOVE their fried shrimp and cheese curds! Best I’ve had! ”
“ Just passing through and stopped here for lunch. The hostess reccomended the Shack Fries which were delicious but the fried okra was the real prize! Friendly staff, yummy food and very reasonably priced for the portions ”
“ Great food and a good atmosphere. Would recommend for a quick bite. ”
“ Absolutely fantastic. I had the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on the side. Excellent on all accounts. The slaw was the best in recent memory. ”
“ My family made a stop here on our way to the Gulf. Kids loved the cheeseburgers, wife loved the chili dog. As for me, best Cole slaw I've ever had anywhere. I also got the Buffalo chicken. They bread it and prepare it themselves, and it was super good! This is worth the stop! They even have an outhouse! ”
“ The Shack is an absolute hidden gem! The food here is seriously amazing—everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they put care into every dish. On top of that, the atmosphere is super cool and laid-back, making it a fun and unique spot to visit. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, don’t miss this place. Highly recommend! ”
“ Stop on in! Chicken tenders/fingers are just like we make at home. Burgers and fries are perfect. The place isn’t a chain restaurant with 100 soda flavors....you get a can of whatever 5 sodas are available and a cup of ice (and of course plenty of tea). Our server was nice. We enjoyed talking with the friendly locals. ”
“ Hamburger, grilled shrimp, and french fries were all great. The staff was very friendly and especially great with our 4 ("and 3/4s!") year old. The bathroom was inconveniently placed, but extremely clean, with enough space inside to handle a child-related potty emergency. The execution of the 13 layer cake defies explanation, and it is delicious as well. ”
